Exciting New Phones Coming Out

Everyone is excited for the new iPhone. Whether it will be called the iPhone 5 or something else, it is what everyone is talking about. In response, several other companies, such as Motorola, LG, and Samsung have stepped up their game as well to keep competitive in the world of cell phones. Therefore, if the iPhone isn’t what you are looking for, there may be a new phone coming out just for you.

Motorola Droid Razr M, HD, and HD Maxx

First up, we have some fantastic new devices from Motorola extending their Droid Razr line. Starting with the Droid Razr M, this phone is smaller than the original Razr, but still has a 4.3 inch screen. This 4G LTE phone boasts a 20-hour battery and the 8 megapixel camera we are all used to having. Next up is the Droid Razr HD. This phone has a 4.7 inch screen, so those HD videos will really pop. The battery is also fantastic, rated at 24 hours of performance, you can use your phone all day without a recharge. Finally, for those who really need a long lasting battery, the Droid Razr Maxx HD will keep you in touch with your friends and family for a full 32 hour battery life. All the new Motorola phones come equipped with the tough Kevlar backing and Corning Gorilla ® Glass screen for a super-tough phone to keep you connected when you need it most. Motorola’s new Droid Razr line is certainly uping the ante and keeping competitive with the market.

Samsung Galaxy Stellar

Second is the Samsung Galaxy Stellar, which sports two discrete modes: Starter and Standard. Starter mode features a simplified interface designed focused around your Favorite apps and targets people who are only starting to dip their toes in the smartphone waters, while Standard mode is a more traditional Android experience. As if that’s not versatile enough, the phone also packs Samsung’s SAFE enterprise solutions, which include VPN and mobile device management support, 256-bit AES encryption options and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Spec-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Stellar doesn’t shine quite as brightly, with a 4-inch 800-by-480 display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 3.2MP/1.2MP rear/front cameras. Android ICS, 4G LTE and a micro-SD card slot round things out. The Samsung Galaxy Stellar will go on sale at Verizon stores Sept. 6, and is completely FREE after rebate. Samsung continues to “bring it” to the market giving customers a fantastic choice of a wide variety of wireless devices.

LG Intuition

Finally, we have the LG Intuition. That’s right, Verizon Wireless users are officially getting their own phablet (smartphone/tablet) device with LG’s Intuition, which sports a huge and very bright 5-inch HD screen. Available September 6th for $199.99, the Intuition boasts a 650-nit True HD display with a unique 4:3 aspect ratio, making this device well suited for media consumption. LG will also include a Rubberdium pen for drawing and writing messages. Although the stylus functionality is limited compared to what Samsung has on tap for the Galaxy Note II, we look forward to seeing what the Notepad app can do. Also included is the Polaris Office app, allowing users to create, view and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations on the fly. The phone also features an 8-megapixal camera and 1080p video recording as well as a 1.3-megapixal front-facing camera for video chatting. The LG Tag+ app, along with two programmable New Field Communications (NFC) stickers, allows users to easily switch between two different phone modes, such as home and office, with a simple tap. This is definitely an exciting addition to Verizon’s line-up of mobile devices.
